Optometrist Bio’s:

Dr. Elisa Fiorentino has been a member of the Transcona Optical Team since 1999. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and watching her two teenage boys play hockey and basketball.

Dr. Blake Chartier has been a member of the Transcona Optical Team since 2017. Outside of the clinic, he loves time with his family, playing golf and visiting Arizona.

Dr. Alissa Boroditsky has been a member of the Transcona Optical Team since 2005. Outside of the clinic, she loves spending with her husband and 3 kids, learning new languages and traveling.

Dr. Alexa Prieur graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry. She will provide all types of eyecare with particular interests in dry eyes and ocular disease. She is a proud Franco-Manitoban and is happy to be back in her hometown to offer eye exams in both English and French.

Dr. Steven Malo has been a member of the Transcona Optical team since 2009. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys competing in adventure races and spending time with his wife and two boys.

Dr. Karen Blackie has been a member of the Transcona Optical Team since 2011. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys bike riding, downhill skiing, and tennis with her husband and 2 daughters.
